The Holy Quran is the quintessential and primary source of belief and teachings for all Muslims. Its commandments act as the central point of reference for the daily activities and lifestyle choices of Muslims at large. The Holy Quran is deemed one of the two most valuable assets left by the Prophet (s.a.w), and as such is deserving of the utmost attention and consideration. Otherwise, the following verse becomes applicable to the subject in question:

“Then the Messenger will say: “O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur’an as a forsaken thing”.(Chapter Furqan, Verse 30)

The primary objective of this series of lessons is to collectively familiarise ourselves with The Book of Guidance.
